Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No — this tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, which also means there are no size limits and no queues.
Can I edit the existing text of the PDF?
This editor overlays new content on top of the page — it does not rewrite the original text layer. To change underlying text, convert the PDF to Word, edit it there, and convert back.
